Principal's Message
Greetings Pioneer Eagle Families,
It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! As we look ahead with excitement, I want to first reflect on the incredible accomplishments of our school community over the past year. Thanks to the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community partners, Pioneer remains one of the top-performing middle schools in Broward County, a tradition of excellence we are proud to continue.
To our outgoing 8th graders: You will be missed! We wish you great success in high school and beyond. Remember, once an Eagle, always an Eagle. To our returning 7th and 8th graders, welcome back! We’re eager to see what you’ll achieve next and are honored to guide you through another meaningful year of learning and growth.
And to our newest Eagles, our incoming 6th grade students and families, welcome to Pioneer! Transitioning to middle school is a big step, and our dedicated staff is committed to supporting you every step of the way. We’re excited to get to know you and help you thrive in your new home.
Pioneer is more than just a school, it's a community. Our continued success stems from the strong partnership between talented, compassionate educators and actively engaged families. Together, we aim to unlock the full potential of every student, especially those who need us most. That means delivering high-quality instruction while nurturing the whole child through social-emotional learning, mental health support, and character development.
We also encourage students to explore their passions, whether through athletics, band, chorus, robotics, woodshop, technology, or our many other enrichment opportunities. We want every child to feel safe, seen, and inspired to make the most of each day at Pioneer.
To our parents and guardians: your involvement is essential. Please stay connected by monitoring assignments, checking grades, and participating in at least one or two parent-teacher conferences each year. Our front office is always happy to assist you in scheduling a meeting. We take pride in clear and proactive communication and want to ensure we're always aligned in support of your child’s success.
Our main communication method is email, so please keep your contact information up to date, especially on your emergency contact card. And remember, the Pioneer Middle website is your go-to hub for updates, forms, and resources.
