Students explore more complex geometric situations and deepen their explanations of geometric relationships, moving towards formal mathematical arguments. The course stresses the ability to reason logically and to think critically, using spatial sense. Students will engage in activities that allow them to create geometric understanding of the world around them.  The units are Congruence, Proof, and Constructions; Similarity, Proof, and Trigonometry; Extending to Three Dimensions; Connecting Algebra and Geometry through Coordinates; and Circles.
